Security and Recruitment Policy

At BritPrime, we understand the paramount importance of security when working in our client’s premises. We are fully committed to upholding and rigorously following the security policies specified by our clients.

These policies are incorporated into our employees’ induction training to ensure that they are well-informed of the security requirements from day one.

Since the company’s inception, BRITPRIME has maintained a policy of organic recruitment, primarily relying on recommendations from existing staff members.

Our reputation in the industry is built on a foundation of fairness, trust, and excellence. We take pride in adhering to strict security procedures to safeguard both our reputation and the integrity of our clients’ operations.
Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Checks:

To ensure that applicants are suitable for positions of trust, BritPrime utilizes the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS), formerly known as CRB. We comply fully with the DBS Code of Practice and are committed to treating all applicants fairly.

We do not discriminate against any applicant based on the information revealed through a DBS check, including any criminal convictions, provided these do not pose a risk to the safety and security of our clients.

Identity Verification and Recruitment Procedures:

At BritPrime, we follow a strict procedure to verify the identity and eligibility of all staff members. The following checks are required for all new employees:

Right to Work in the UK:

All staff must prove their right to work and live in the United Kingdom. We require a valid passport confirming British citizenship or a birth certificate/letter from the Home Office confirming the individual’s entitlement to live and work in the UK. Additionally, we utilize the Home Office’s share code system to confirm an applicant's right to work.

Banking Details:

Since all staff are paid via the BACS transfer system, it is necessary for all employees to have an appropriate Bank or Building Society account.

Proof of Address:

To confirm an employee’s residence, we require copies of recent utility bills or bank statements.

Identity and National Insurance Number Verification:

Staff must provide proof of their identity and National Insurance Number. This is accomplished by reviewing documents from the Inland Revenue, Benefits Agency, or
a previous employer that verifies the individual’s name and National Insurance number, or through a P45/P60 form.

Uniform and Security Badges:

All BritPrime personnel are issued with uniforms that display the company’s insignia and are required to wear a security badge when working on client premises. Additionally, all staff must sign in and out for each working shift.

Enhanced Security Measures:

If our clients’ premises require enhanced security, BritPrime can implement additional procedures. These may include:

More comprehensive identity checks
In-depth reference checks. The introduction of a specialized security form, which outlines the additional security procedures. All operatives will be trained on these procedures and required to sign the form prior to commencing work.

At BritPrime , we take the security of our clients and our personnel very seriously, and we continually strive to ensure that all operations are carried out securely and in full compliance with all security requirements.
