AtBritPrime, preventing accidents and ill-health caused by work is a key priority. We are committed to providing our employees with the necessary health and safety information, instruction, supervision, and training to ensure that our workforce is not injured or made ill by the work they do.

Our goal is to promote a positive safety culture, where safe and healthy working becomes second nature for all, while ensuring that we meet our legal duties to protect the health and safety of our employees.

Quality Control and Health & Safety Programmes:

Our Health & Safety and Quality Control programmes are comprehensive and extend across all levels of personnel within the company, regardless of position. We deliver innovative training policies, which include courses covering areas such as:

All our training programmes adhere to the relevant regulations and standards, and, where appropriate, are delivered in partnership with professional bodies such as the British Institute of Cleaning Science (BICS), of which BRITPRIME is a Corporate Member.

Employer’s Responsibilities:

At BritPrime, we acknowledge the importance of ensuring that all employees receive the right training, information, and supervision to carry out their roles safely. Our responsibilities as an employer include:

- Consulting with relevant personnel to identify the training, information, and supervision required based on factors such as risk assessments, workplace hazards, and - individual needs.
- Undertaking a training needs assessment for all employees to identify the required training.
- Ensuring that job demands do not exceed the employee’s ability to perform work safely, without risks to themselves or others.
- Prioritising training and supervision based on risk assessments, with particular focus on high-risk areas.
- Determining the most suitable method of delivering the necessary training, whether using internal or external providers.
- Assessing the suitability and effectiveness of the training and making necessary adjustments or updates based on its impact on both the employee and the business.

Ensuring that all employees receive information, instruction, supervision, and training in the following circumstances:
- During recruitment/induction.
- When transitioning to a new task or role.
- When there is a change in the workplace environment, processes, equipment, or systems of work.
- If risk assessments or reviews indicate a need for refresher training.

We will maintain accurate records of all information, instruction, and training provided to our employees.
